Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management. The Security Guard will monitor premises through CCTV systems and provide immediate response to any security incidents.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
• Provide first aid or CPR as needed during emergencies.
• Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in loss prevention or security roles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and CCTV operations.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
• Background in law enforcement or military service is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
