Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food service stations through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations safely and efficiently
- Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients while adhering to dietary guidelines
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle weight-based food items with care
- Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing special dietary needs or requests
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or catering settings
- Culinary experience including food preparation, plating, and presentation skills is advantageous
