What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Ramada Midtown Conference Center?
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server to provide an excellent guest experience. Good bartender/server will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. A great server is both a guest experience specialist and an operational link between the kitchen, bar, and customers, ensuring that every order is accurate, service is prompt, and the atmosphere remains welcoming and professional.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Take and Process Orders
- Serve food and drinks
- Check on guests
- Collaborate with staff
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/server (preferred)
- Working knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
