Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure optimal sanitation.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Maintain floor care routines including carpet cleaning, polishing, buffing, and other specialized treatments to preserve flooring quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during cleaning visits.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained, stored safely, and replenished as needed.
- Follow established safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in all environments.
- Assist with janitorial tasks in both residential and commercial settings, including trash removal and restroom sanitation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning services such as custodial work or janitorial roles; hotel or residential cleaning experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks that involve standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment; certification in housekeeper management or commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping can be advantageous for understanding guest expectations.
