Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Host/Hostess to join our Continental Breakfast team for part time on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. This is a complementary breakfast provided by Ramada to all paying guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest services and creating memorable dining experiences. As a Host/Hostess & Cook, you will be responsible for preparing the entire breakfast spread while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen & dining environment. Your role will be essential in ensuring guest satisfaction through delicious food and excellent customer service.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items. Actual cooking will involve sausages, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The rest of the spread is prepared food.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Assist with guest services by addressing any dietary needs or preferences.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide support in bussing tables to enhance guest experience.
- Constantly replenishing items as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate special requests is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and creating enjoyable dining experiences for guests.
