Duties
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care.
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
- Handle delicate items with special care, including dry cleaning processes when applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safety standards are met.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents; notify management when restocking is needed.
- Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric treatment to uphold quality standards.
- Assist with other cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to support overall cleanliness and guest comfort.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and dry cleaning processes.
