We are seeking a friendly, customer service oriented person to join our team at the Ramada in Arcata, CA as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk! You will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
Shift Hours: 3pm to 11pm, 4 days a week. Weekend availability required.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with professionalism
- Assist guests with their needs, including room assignments, special requests, and local information
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing, and reservations using hotel management software
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating concerns to management when necessary
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Preform light cleaning tasks whenever necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and multi-line phone systems is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Familiarity with customer service required
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills preferred
Pay: From $16.90 per hour
