Maintenance Technician – Full‑Time (Urgent Hire)
Pay: $25–$33 per hour (based on experience)

Ram‑Z Services is urgently hiring a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support residential and commercial property operations. We’re seeking someone with strong technical ability, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the professionalism to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on residential and commercial properties
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Respond to scheduled and emergency maintenance requests
- Complete general property upkeep including painting, minor carpentry, and landscaping
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems
- Manage maintenance inventory and supplies
- Coordinate with subcontractors for major repairs or specialized work
- Communicate professionally with tenants, residents, and property managers
- Provide customer service and troubleshoot issues in both residential and commercial settings
Flooring Installation Requirements
- Must have hands‑on experience installing:
- VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile)
- LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank)
- Carpet
- Vinyl tile / sheet vinyl
- Ability to remove, prep, repair subfloors, and complete clean, professional installations
- Experience with flooring tools, adhesives, transitions, and trim work
Technical & Software Requirements
- Must have experience using maintenance management software, or be technically savvy and able to learn quickly
- Comfortable using mobile apps, digital work orders, and cloud‑based systems
- Ability to document work, upload photos, and communicate through digital platforms
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience (10 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Proficiency with tools, diagnostics, and general repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Must have a clean driver’s license
- Reliable transportation for the first 3 months
- Must pass a background check and drug test
Preferred Certifications
- EPA Certification
- CPO Certification
- NATE Certification
- Carpet Cleaning: 1–3 years
- General Cleaning: 1–3 years
- HVAC: 1–3 years
- Plumbing: 1–3 years
- Electrical: 1–3 years
