Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lubbock, TX, for a Shop Hand at RAM Welding, Inc. The Shop Hand will primarily assist with the daily operations of the shop, including material handling, equipment maintenance, cleaning and organizing the workspace, and preparing materials for welding and fabrication. The role may also require support in equipment operation, basic measurements, and ensuring adherence to safety standards while performing duties efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience with material handling, equipment maintenance, and shop organization
- Ability to use measurement tools and interpret basic measurements
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Basic technical skills for working with tools, machinery, or welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, moving materials, and standing for extended periods
- Previous experience in a welding, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing environment is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
