What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Analyst position at RAM Mutual Insurance Company?
As a Systems Analyst, you will analyze, maintain, design, implement and analyze innovative technology solutions with the objective of improving efficiency and ease of doing business for both internal and external stakeholders. Using a variety of programming languages, our Systems Analysts play a critical role in integrating our multi-value database with both our web applications and our paperless office system.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of programming languages and systems
- Developing, writing, maintaining, and analyzing software, web, and database applications
- Collaborating with other departments to develop an understanding of work processes
- Identify, develop, and propose creative, innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Analyze, compile, prepare, and monitor data to ensure program accuracy
- Lead agreed upon solutions through the development life cycle while documenting processes and procedures
- Ensure all stakeholders remain informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of programming languages and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least three years of programming experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships, collaborate across teams, and convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences while providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of programming, operations, and experience in insurance is preferred.
- Knowledge of the PICK operating system and BASIC programming language is desirable but not necessary.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences
- Effective time management and prioritization skills to meet established deadlines
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills
- Must work well independently and as part of a team

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
