Job Summary
RAM Mounts is seeking a dedicated and experienced Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will self-manage daily and weekly cleaning tasks, maintain a high standard of cleanliness, and keep our facility safe and welcoming. While the role requires independence, the Custodian will report to the Facilities Manager and collaborate on special cleaning or maintenance projects as needed.

Bending/Stooping: 15 – 45%
Twisting/Turning: 20 – 60%

RAM Mounts is seeking a dedicated and experienced Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will self-manage daily and weekly cleaning tasks, maintain a high standard of cleanliness, and keep our facility safe and welcoming. While the role requires independence, the Custodian will report to the Facilities Manager and collaborate on special cleaning or maintenance projects as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Independently follow and complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Stock restrooms and breakrooms with tissue paper products and other supplies
- Collect trash, replace garbage liners, and clean receptacles as needed
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces
- Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors as needed
- Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and horizontal surfaces
- Wash and disinfect restrooms, including floors, toilets, seats, and dispensers; restock supplies
- Wash windows and use provided equipment
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- Identify areas that need attention without waiting for direction
- Report minor maintenance issues and any damages to the Facilities Manager
- Work with the Facilities Manager and team on special cleaning or maintenance projects
- Perform custodial work across multiple warehouses as needed
- 2 years custodial/janitorial experience required (manufacturing or industrial setting preferred)
- Proven ability to self-manage tasks and time with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
- Strong follow-through on delegated tasks and assignments
- Ability to operate and use cleaning tools and equipment safely
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive in spotting what needs to be done
- Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, lifting to 30 lbs., pushing carts/equipment)
