Job Overview
As a Housekeeper, you’ll help create clean, comfortable, and welcoming residential spaces. You’ll handle routine cleaning, laundry, and floor care while communicating with clients about priorities and completed work. This hands-on role may include cooking and outdoor tasks, along with lifting and moving supplies.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas; follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and perform floor cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and detergents.
- Complete laundry tasks and cooking duties as requested, and support outdoor work when needed.
- Use cleaning equipment safely, apply manual-handling practices, and manage heavy lifting as required.
- Communicate with clients about household needs, schedules, and service concerns. Your impact: Consistent, thoughtful housekeeping helps residents enjoy healthier, more comfortable homes.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential cleaning or residential housekeeping; janitorial or custodial experience is also valuable.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation, cleaning detergents, surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Strong time management, client communication, and customer service skills.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including manual handling and heavy lifting, and work outdoors when needed.
- Cooking experience and housekeeping management skills are helpful.
Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 32.0 per week
