Requirements
- Leadership & Culture: Lead by example to foster a culture of safety and engagement. You will manage daily attendance, approve timecards, and ensure all team members adhere to RAM policies and Core Values.
- Production Management: Direct and coordinate the daily activities of your team to hit production goals and Takt times. You are responsible for ensuring the flow of product meets customer delivery schedules.
- Visual Management: Facilitate daily "Tier Huddles" to communicate performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) and set daily expectations for the team.
- Team Development: Accountable for training and development. You will manage cross-training matrices to ensure team flexibility and keep employee certifications current.
- Problem Solving: serve as the first line of defense for production issues. You will collaborate with Management, Quality, Engineering, and Planning to resolve bottlenecks, material shortages, or non-conformances.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion the "fix it" mindset. You will facilitate problem-solving initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and support safety first-aid prevention.
- Administrative Proficiency: Submit requisitions for materials/supplies and utilize ERP systems to track work orders and inventory.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly preferred.
- Education: Associate’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (due to ITAR requirements).
