POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee the overall ERP schedule based on customer demand and sales forecasting. The Master Scheduler will manage the high-level ERP schedule based on customer orders and demand. Integrate the schedule inputs from operations, customer support, and production planning into ERP. Develop and maintain customer order demand rates and forecasting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, compile, and coordinate the input of customer demand into ERP for ongoing customer orders and demand rates
- Review and update customer demand rates and ensure ERP reflects accurate customer demand
- Ensure the completion and maintenance of consignment inventory levels through ERP schedule
- Maintain consignment inventory production run rates based on customer inventory levels
- Coordinate with the customer support team fluctuations in customer demand
- Coordinate with operations and production planning changes in customer demand rates
- Collaborate with senior management and supporting departments to resolve significant issues impacting sales objectives and production schedules
- Oversee and adjust the master schedule in response to customer feedback/requirements and manufacturing capacity
- Revise the master schedule when material shortages or capacity issues cannot be resolved to meet the existing schedule
- Communicate significant schedule deviations to customer support and senior management
- Measure and report master schedule performance
- Prepare forecast, finished goods status, and master schedule data to support SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) meetings
- Maintain ERP schedule accuracy and updates according to changes in production capacity and customer demand
- Input and maintain customer forecast orders based on business development and sales projections
- Update customer support on schedule updates and production run rate or recovery status
- Compare and adjust current and anticipated order schedule in ERP
- Integrate upcoming engineering development demands into the production schedule
- Support the maintenance and implementation of the advance planning system (APS)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree or equivalent related job experience.
Proven experience in production or materials planning.
Working knowledge of ERP or MRP.
Excellent computational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency for data analysis and maintenance.
Must be proficient in operation of a computer and using Microsoft Word and Outlook.
