AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Local Automotive Dealership, is looking for an Accounts Payables Specialist to join their Accounting team located near Gonzales, LA. Responsibilities:

• Receive, reconcile, and process vendor invoices
• Issue accounts payable checks and post open items daily
• Reconcile statements and ledgers to ensure timely payments
• Assist with monthly closing operations
• Provide analysis of accounts as needed
• Maintain accurate and updated AR and AP files
• Maintains vendor account records verifying that the statement balance and G/L balances agree
• Discrepancies are properly documented and submitted to management prior to payment
• Support other team members and departments as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Automotive and CDK or DealerTrack experience is required
• Minimum of one year in an accounting or business office role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization
• Confidential and professional demeanor
