What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Server position at Ralph’s Italian Ices?
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Server/Cashier! In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, handling cash transactions, along with scooping and serving ices and ice cream. We offer flexible scheduling and looking for those who have availability between the hours of 12-10pm . This is a seasonal position (March- October) & we offer our employees an opportunity to come back and work with us when we reopen every year. This is a great opportunity for young adults and local college students looking for extra work.
Duties:
- Take customer orders accurately and promptly
- Scoop and prepare specialty Ralph’s items
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic math for cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of POS system is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
