Restaurant General Manager - Ralph's American Grill

Ralph's American Grill, located in Wilmington, OH, is currently seeking an experienced General Manager to assist with the management of our excellent food service establishment. The General Manager is responsible for planning and directing all restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety, ensuring the efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant and the optimal utilization of staff and resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly financial performance regarding both expenses and revenues.
• Create and implements operational plans to accommodate business volume.
• Is responsible for Marketing, Budgeting, & Forecasting.
• Develops and Mentors Management Team.
• Manages labor, food costs and other expenses etc.
• Directs all staff, assistant managers and hourly associates in daily operations.
• Maintains food and service specifications as determined by Brand Standards.
• Conducts quarterly all associate meetings.
• Conducts weekly manager meetings.
• Organizes and executes of departmental meetings
• Oversees the ordering of both food and supplies.
• Oversees labor management for the restaurant.
• Conducts hiring and onboarding activities for new associates.
• Works to increase sales, minimize costs, and optimize profits.
• Responsible for ensuring that all invoices, and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, timely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures positive guest service in all areas.
• Responds to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Maintains high standards of health and safety.
• Maintains positive associate relations; coaches and counsel associates regarding career and personal development; conducts performance evaluation and provides feedback to employees.
• Ensures alcohol regulations are adhered to.
• Arranges for maintenance and repairs of equipment and services.
• Determines and execute operating improvements.
• Maintains result and communication with team members and develops action plans
• Other duties as assigned.
