This is a full-time, on-site role for an Athletic Director located in Ralls, TX. The Athletic Director will oversee the district's athletic programs, including sports administration, team management, and ensuring adherence to standards and regulations. Daily tasks include managing athletic staff, coordinating practice and game schedules, overseeing the athletic budget, and ensuring a safe and productive environment for student-athletes. The Athletic Director will also support coaches and players in fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development.
- Proficiency in Athletic Administration, including managing budgets, scheduling, and regulatory compliance
- Background in Physical Education with the ability to promote wellness and fitness education programs
- Experience in Coaching and mentoring teams, with a focus on player development and sportsmanship
- Expertise in coaching sports such as Basketball or related team activities
- Familiarity with Intercollegiate Athletics and the associated standards and requirements
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Relevant certifications in coaching or athletic program management are a plus
