Work as part of a test engineering team that develops and maintains test solutions for leading-edge high-performance microelectronics packaging, hybrids, modules, and components. Develop, implement, or improve hardware and software test solutions for products using a variety of technologies. Develop RF, digital and mixed-signal test applications for package and wafer test of ASICs. Utilize Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and Waveform Synthesizers. Utilize advanced VNA calibration techniques for custom standards on and off-wafer. Design and implement test fixture de-embedding methodology up to 70 GHz. Design device calibration methods with physical and programmable standards. Design and maintain test applications on an ATE system and rack-mounted equipment. Design test board schematic capture and layout. Develop wafer sort applications. Integrate test applications with package handlers. Create training documents and train Technicians and Operators to be self-sufficient in test operation and maintenance. Perform statistical analysis for new and current designs (CPK, Gage R&R, etc.). Adhere to high compliance engineering standards. Interact and present to internal and external customers as needed. Participate in problem-solving group events. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: 10 years working experience in the microelectronics industry or comparable military training in engineering technology or related field. BSEE, BSCompE or equivalent. Proficiency in using Vector Network Analyzers and similar equipment for RF and high-speed mixed signal circuit validation. Flexibility - Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Troubleshooting/Debug - Experience quickly analyzing, isolating, and fixing problems with microwave RF and digital electronic circuits. Communication - Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication, and teamwork; Possess strong written and oral communication skills. Experience with test & measurement equipment. Experience with RF transmitter, receiver, sampler, and transceiver test development. Experience using METAS VNA Tools II. Experience with micromanipulator and probe technology. Experience with wafer probers: ACCRETECH / TSK, TEL and Form Factor. Software programming with languages such as Delphi PASCAL, C , C, MATLAB, and Python. Experience with Package Handlers such as Exatron, Chroma, Cohu, and ASECO. Windows and UNIX operating system operation and configuration experience. Experience working with electromechanical assemblies. Experience in software code development. Network administration experience. Tools - experience with Windows Office Suite (including word processing, spreadsheet software, project planning, presentation, e-mail, and flow charts). Lean - Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. Continuous Improvement - Experience interacting on continuous improvement projects.
