Occupational Therapist – Full-Time Position – Wakefield Location
Join one of the region’s largest and most respected orthopaedic practices dedicated to delivering exceptional, comprehensive therapeutic services. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team and provide hand/upper extremity therapy care and patient evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment and home programs
- Provide specialized hand and upper extremity therapy
- Document patient evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge summaries
- Communicate patient progress and concerns with physicians and therapy leadership
- Manage patient scheduling, charging, and appropriate delegation to support staff
- Participate in continuing education and staff development
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy accredited by American Occupational Therapists Association or a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current North Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
- 2–3 years of clinical experience working with hand therapy patients preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with physicians, coworkers, management, patients, and other professional partners
- Ability to manage a patient volume of 11-12 patients per 8-hour day

Compensation:
- $75,000–95,000 per year, commensurate with experience
