Charge Entry Specialist (Therapy Services) – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Office
The Charge Entry Specialist is responsible for daily follow-up of approvals and denials. Ensuring Therapist notes are in system within 48 hours of appointment and sending out weekly emails to ensure a smooth month end process.
Position requires one years’ experience in medical insurance in a clinic environment. Experience with insurance software programs such as GE Centricity along with basic computer programs preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and organization skills required. Requires ability to exercise good judgment and discretion as well as time management skills. Effective verbal and phone communication skills.
Must be able to work in a cooperative manner and maintain effective working relationships with management/supervisors & co-workers throughout departments.
