Job Description: The Radiologic Technologist works in the Pain Management Procedure clinic, and is responsible for taking diagnostic images and ensuring a safe environment in the procedure room for patients and employees. New graduates welcome.
Essential Job Duties
- Expectations for procedure room: manipulate/operate C-arm, position C-arm to the physician’s specifications
- Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards
- Archive images to EMR from C-arm, set-up C-arm with all patient information, locate/document patient dose
- Institutes trouble shooting measures, recognizes equipment malfunctions, and communicates with department manager
- Perform sterile technique while operating C-arm, assist procedure RN as needed
- Associate may be trained for and responsible to handle and label medications on a sterile field, to assist physician in performing invasive procedures
- Maintain clean work/patient care environment
- Provide pre and post procedure patient care
- Equipment and supply management
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- CRT, ARRT certification
- Ultra Sound experience preferred
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
