Position Overview
Raleigh Neurology is a private neurology practice seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to work with our physicians in our Adult Neurology department in the Raleigh Location. We offer competitive salary and full benefits package including 401(k), health insurance and CME. The NP or PA will work under the supervision of one of the physicians at Raleigh Neurology. The provider will see up to 17 patients per day in the outpatient setting with the clinical support of a nurse and medical assistant. Primary hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. No call or weekends.
Job Duties:
- Take patient's history, perform a physical exam, and order laboratory tests and procedures
- Proper documentation and coding of patient visit in Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases
- Consult with Supervising Physician
- Provide prescriptions and coordinate referrals
- Promote healthy activities together with the patient
- Work with nursing staff to answer patient messages and provide guidance in response to phone calls from patients
Requirements:
- Active licensure from the NC Board of Nursing or NC Medical Board
- 1 Years of Neurology or Specialty Experience is preferred
