JOB SUMMARY
Manages various phases of the patient encounter: timely and accurate patient registration, appointment scheduling, check-in, check-out and collection of payments as well as general medical receptionist responsibilities.
Serves as liaison between patient a medical support staff and performs patient care activities that include clinical and lab-related tasks under the guidance of a physician or mid-level provider.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs receptionist and registration duties for the office
Performs clinical and patient care duties for the office

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
□ Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days
CMA Certification required within 6 months of hire.
