Dental Assistant II

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated bilingual and skilled Dental Assistant II to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
• Take dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Record patient medical history, vital signs, and assist in medical documentation as needed.
• Accurate patient record management.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain an organized dental clinic environment, including inventory management of supplies.
• Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique and infection control measures consistently.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.50 per hour
