Job Summary
Busy Pediatric Office in Raleigh, NC, is looking for a full-time medical assistant who is an energetic team player and loves working with children and their families. This job requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to changing demands, and has a high level of flexibility. · This position rotates between our 2 offices, one near UNC Rex Hospital and the other in the Brier Creek area
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing routine care for well and sick patients from birth through college years. Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for their visit; administer vaccines, injections, and medications; perform vision and hearing screens; complete lab work; and assist physicians with minor procedures.
Weekend Availability: Candidates may be required to work one weekend occasionally or as needed based on practice staffing and operational needs.
Skills
- Experience working within EMR systems for documentation, order entry, and record management.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs assessment, patient intake, and basic life support (BLS).
- Ability to assist in emergency medicine situations with calmness and professionalism.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.
Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour
