Role:
A Brewery Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the brewery's public image, driving customer engagement, and increasing revenue through well-planned and executed events. Effective communication, attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills are key attributes for success in this role.
Qualifications:
· 3 years professional experience in an events management position
· High school/GED or higher
· Experience with and love of craft beer
· Able to meet physical demands of role
· Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record
· 21
· A positive attitude
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Event Planning: Plan and coordinate all brewery events, including beer tastings, tours, festivals, private parties, and special promotions.
· Event Scheduling: Create a yearly calendar of events, considering seasonal and local factors.
· Venue Preparation: Arrange and decorate the brewery space to suit the theme or purpose of each event, ensuring it is safe and attractive.
· Vendor and Sponsor Management: Coordinate with vendors and sponsors for event coordination, such as food, entertainment, and promotional items.
· Budget Management: Develop draft event budgets to help ensure that events are financially successful. Work with Taproom manager and CFO to finalize budget. Monitor expenses and revenue.
· Permit and Licensing: Obtain the necessary permits and licenses required for each event, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
· Promotion and Marketing: Collaborate with our marketing team to strategize and promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and partnerships with local media.
· Ticket Sales: Collaborate with our marketing team to manage ticket sales for paid events, track sales, and ensure a smooth ticketing process.
· Event Staff: Recruit, train, and manage event staff, including security, brand ambassadors, and event support personnel.
· Customer Experience: Focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences during events to enhance brand loyalty and word-of-mouth marketing.
· Safety and Security: Ensure the safety of all attendees during events by implementing security measures and emergency response plans by utilizing outside security resources.
· Guest List Management: Maintain guest lists, check-in attendees, and resolve any entry issues promptly.
· Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from attendees and use it to improve future events.
· Sustainability Initiatives: Implement environmentally friendly practices at events to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
· Catering and Beverage Coordination: Coordinate food and beverage services by working with our food partners.
· Entertainment and Activities: Organize entertainment and activities that align with the event's theme and appeal to the target audience.
· Sales and Revenue Generation: Create opportunities for revenue generation, such as merchandise sales, beer sales, or memberships.
· Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to ensure seamless event planning and promotion.
· Post-Event Evaluation: Analyze the success of each event, including financial performance, attendance, and customer feedback.
· Continuous Improvement: Continually seek ways to enhance the quality and variety of events and maximize their impact on the brewery's brand.
