What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech (3rd Shift) position at Raldex Hospitality?
We are looking for a thorough Floor Tech with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our property. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Properly set up appropriate "Caution" and safety signs before performing janitorial tasks.
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, excess carts, buckets, supplies, & equipment.
• Canvas areas of responsibility daily.
• Assess for thoroughness and quality of floors on property.
• Provide floor maintenance services on property.
• Perform daily cleaning services to guest and public areas and floor care as assigned.
• Perform major floor maintenance such as stripping and refinishing, scrubbing and top coating and burnishing.
• Perform major floor maintenance such as carpet extraction, spotting, carpet bonneting, and large area vacuuming.
• Utilize vacuum cleaners, brushes, cleaning chemicals, floor finish, and other materials related to hard surface floor and carpet cleaning.
• Perform all floor tech procedures from proper set up to proper clean-up of the work site and all equipment used for the hard surface or carpet cleaning project.
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and understand safety data sheets for those chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
***Must be able to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
