RAKA Rentals is looking for a Yard Coordinator. The Yard Coordinator is responsible for the general maintenance, tracking and organization of equipment within the yard. You’ll oversee the shipping and receiving of new, used and rental equipment then regularly maintain the inventory systems ensuring its accuracy and rectifying any discrepancies. The Yard Coordinator will work with customers, freight companies and transport to load and unload equipment. You’ll operate many different types of equipment such as skid loaders, excavators, dozers, forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts which you will receive training and certification as required. You may often operate the wash bay as well.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Coordinates and tracks all shipping and receiving of equipment within yard. Loads and unloads machines. Prepares needed paperwork and performs inspections on all incoming and outgoing equipment. Documents and communicates any issues found during pre & post-inspections.
- Scan equipment and work with the Used Equipment Manager to post pictures to our website.
- Assist the Used Equipment Manager in maintaining the machine inventory on the website.
- Organizes and inventories yard ensuring working environment is safe for both customers and employees.
- Provides rental customers with start/stop and general operating instructions.
- Ensures cleanliness of all equipment and cab areas prior to transport or rental in an efficient and timely manner.
- Performs general yard upkeep and maintenance, including snow removal and weeding.
