Pay Details:
For Local Candidates Pay Rate: $64 to $70/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $67.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,412.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $18.78
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $678.08
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,735.92

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $70.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,520.00
Overview:
The RN in Endoscopy/Gastroenterology provides specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic and GI procedures. This role involves assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in collaboration with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Procedure:
· Complete patient assessment, intake, and history.
· Verify NPO status, obtain vitals, and start IV access.
· Provide patient monitoring and proper hand-off.
Intra-Procedure:
· Monitor vitals and assess for complications.
· Follow universal protocol and assist with specimen handling and documentation.
· Maintain patient safety and effective communication with the team.
Post-Procedure:
· Monitor patient recovery, vitals, and assessments.
· Provide safe hand-off and discharge education as appropriate.
Requirements:
· Active PA RN license (required).
· Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
· Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (Endoscopy or related specialty preferred).
· Current BLS certification (AHA required).
· Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
