Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Location: Service Ave, North Providence, RI 02911
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)
Shift: (3x12) – Nights

Guaranteed Hours: 36

OT Pay Rate: All Inclusive Rate x 1.5%

Pay Details:

For Locals: $67 - $70/hr. (If your permanent address is within the 50 mile radius from the facility address)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $70.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,520.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $29.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,044.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,476.00

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $73.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,628.00

Position Overview:

The Telemetry RN provides specialized nursing care for patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring. This role focuses on early detection of life-threatening cardiac events, timely intervention, and managing the care of patients with complex cardiovascular and medical needs in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry data continuously.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and reassessments, focusing on cardiac and hemodynamic stability.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Recognize and respond quickly to cardiac emergencies, activating rapid response protocols when necessary.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of telemetry equipment and troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New York)/Compact.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS.
