Job Title: Central Sterile Supply Technician
Location: Maine
Duration: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Shift: 4x10-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Overtime Starts After: 40 hours
Pay Details:
For Travelers/Stipend:
Hourly Pay Rate (W2): $36.00
Weekly Pay Rate (W2): $1,296.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $15.00
Minimum Hourly Stipend: $21.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $756.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $1,296.00
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent – Required
- Certification: Central Sterile Processing Technician certification – Preferred
- Experience: Knowledge of hospital/OR instrumentation – Preferred
- Duties include:
- Processing and sterilizing all OR and department instruments
- Daily cleaning and testing of sterilizers
- Creating pre-packaged instrument sets
- Setting up case carts for OR procedures
- State Mandate: Influenza vaccination required (medical exemptions only, must be approved)
- Sub Specialty: Sterile Processing Technologist
