What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director position at Raising Stars Learning Center?
Raising Stars School Age Program in Rincon, GA is looking for one assistant director to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 210 N. Columbia Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
Assist the director with planning, managing, and directing a childcare program. Teach and monitor children when needed. Maintain center paperwork, maintaining files on each child meeting state requirements. This position requires you to work in a classroom setting daily with all age groups. Must be willing to perform all classroom duties when working in a classroom and other duties as assigned. Must able to give staff directions and maintain daily operations. Must be able to problem solve and work independently. Must be able to problem solve, work in a fast pace environment. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers. Able to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Must be able to work between 5:45a-6:30p Monday-Friday.
- BA Degree (Preferred) or Certification in Early Childhood (CDA)
- Must be able to perform administrative duties as assigned
- Must have computer skills
- Must be flexible
