Raising Shasta (Shasta County Child Abuse Prevention Coordinating Council) is seeking a confident, community-minded Parent Partner II to support parents and caregivers in building stronger, healthier families. Since 1987, we have partnered with families across Shasta County to promote safety, stability, and well-being.
What You Will Do
The Parent Partner II provides relationship-based, in-home support and case management to families. In this role, you will:
- Provide in-home parenting support and guidance
- Maintain a caseload and help families set and achieve goals
- Build strong, professional relationships with families
- Connect families to community resources
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who brings both lived parenting experience and the ability to confidently guide others. Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in case management or social services
- Positivity and compassion for families facing challenges
- Strong communication and professional boundaries
- Reliable, with transportation and a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Lived experience as a parent who has navigated community systems such as child services or experienced parenting challenges
- Background in social services, family support, early childhood, or child development
- Knowledge of Shasta County community resources
- Associate's degree in related field and/or equivalent case management experience
