Raising Responsible Citizens (RRCEF), a nonprofit based in Alexandria, VA, is seeking volunteer gardeners to help launch and maintain a community garden that will provide fresh produce to local families and food banks.
We're looking for volunteers with:
- A degree (or current studies) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of vegetable gardening and plant care
- A passion for community service
- Enjoyment of working outdoors
