Role Description
This is a part-time, on-call role based in Miami, FL, supporting events on an as-needed basis. The Event Setup & Breakdown Associate plays a key role in bringing fundraising events to life by assisting with setup, execution, and breakdown of silent auctions.
This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to break into events, business, or nonprofit work. You’ll gain real-world experience working in high-end fundraising environments alongside donors, sponsors, and community leaders. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading event materials, including auction items and display equipment
- Set up auction tables, signage, and displays according to event plans
- Ensure items are organized, labeled, and visually appealing
- Provide on-site support during events, including light guest interaction and restocking materials
- Assist with checkout by organizing and distributing winning items
- Break down and pack event materials efficiently after the event
- Help maintain an organized and professional event environment at all times
