Rairdon Automotive Group, a leading and rapidly growing auto group in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Employee Operations to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a results-driven HR professional with automotive industry experience to make a significant impact in a dynamic, people-focused organization.

About the Role:

As Director of Employee Operations, you will provide vision, leadership, and hands-on expertise in all aspects of human resources across multiple dealership locations. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, strengthen organizational culture, and drive operational excellence.

Compensation: Full-time total annual compensation between $144,000-$180,000/year; all subject to terms of pay plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company’s growth and performance goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals across multiple dealerships.
  • Partner with General Managers, Controllers, and Department Leaders to ensure effective HR processes and compliance.
  • Oversee recruitment, retention, and talent development initiatives to attract and grow top talent.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and performance management programs that support employee engagement and retention.
  • Champion company culture, employee relations, and workplace compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Drive process improvement, standardization, and scalability across all HR functions.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of HR leadership experience within the automotive industry required (Office Manager/Controller or HR Manager background).
  • Proven experience leading HR teams across multiple locations or dealerships.
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations, accounting, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on and deliver results.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): All new employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law. Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn an additional 40 hours of PTO each anniversary year; following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn 80 hours of PTO each anniversary year, according to terms of PTO policies.
