The Aspenwood Company, a leader in the senior living industry has a outstanding opportunities for part-time Valet at our Village of Southampton location an upscale Independent and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community.
Pay Rate: $14.50/hr.
Saturday & Sunday | 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Responsible for providing safe, courteous service and serve as support staff to the community. Maintains parking and traffic flow in driveway. Must desire to work with seniors and have a tolerance for behaviors associated with dementia and other aging processes. Abides by and upholds company core values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Parking and retrieving of resident and guest vehicles.
- Manage traffic flow in driveway for safety and optimal use of the area.
- Assist residents/guests into and out of vehicle in a safe manner.
- Insure vehicle keys are properly labeled, tracked, and returned to vehicle owner.
- Assist residents/guests with belongings.
- Assist residents with mobility devices as applicable.
- Observe all traffic laws.
- Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
- Immediately report accidents or damage to any vehicle to Executive Director or Manager on Duty.
- Assist concierge with resident deliveries.
- Maintain a safe driving record that meets Company guidelines and insurance carrier requirements.
- Report potentially unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.
- Build and maintain healthy relationships while interfacing confidently with people of diverse levels and backgrounds.
- Maintains a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
