Day Shift CNA

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNA to join our assisted living care team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality resident care and support within a home like setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, resident care protocols, and the ability to work effectively with aging individuals. The CNA will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in delivering comprehensive care and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Duties

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Provide direct resident care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Utilize knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to assist residents in using necessary devices.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and workspaces.

Skills

• Proficient in medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to resident care and treatment.
• Experience working with aging individuals, demonstrating empathy and patience.
• Knowledge of DME usage and application in resident care settings.
• Ability to provide compassionate resident care while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with resident, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
