Job Summary

Duties
- Patrol designated areas of the county , highways, and public areas to deter crime and ensure safety.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents requiring law enforcement intervention.
- Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing reports.
- Enforce laws related to traffic violations, criminal activity, and public disturbances.
- Write detailed reports documenting incidents, arrests, and investigations accurately.
- Engage in conflict management to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining order.
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until medical personnel arrive.
- Assist with surveillance operations to monitor suspicious activities or persons of interest.
- Handle animals involved in incidents or found stray animals as needed.
- Support community outreach programs and foster positive relationships with residents.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle readiness for daily operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience or training in law enforcement preferred
- TCole certification is required.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and report writing standards.
- Experience in conflict management and animal handling is beneficial.
- Familiarity with immigration law, loss prevention strategies, security protocols, and animal care is a plus.
- Military background or previous law enforcement experience highly regarded.
