Job Summary
Rainone, Coughlin, Minchello, LLC, is seeking to hire two dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of practice areas, including all facets of municipal and government law including but not limited to litigation, redevelopment law and labor law. The Associate Attorneys will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in various proceedings. This position is ideal for motivated legal professionals eager to develop their expertise in multiple facets of law while delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions and briefs to be filed in State Court and Federal Court.
- Appear in Court to argue motions, participate in arbitrations, mediations, conferences and trials, if necessary.
- Take depositions of parties, witnesses, medical experts and liability experts;
- Be responsible for serving discovery and filing relevant motions.
- Research and draft Resolutions and Ordinances.
- Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across multiple practice areas.
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings with professionalism and advocacy.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on case status and gather necessary information.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New Jersey bar.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing case files.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Excellent legal writing skills demonstrated through drafting motions, contracts, or pleadings.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within a team environment.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
