The Opportunity
We are seeking a curious, resourceful, and highly motivated AI & Business Transformation Analyst to work across a family of growing operating businesses, including Rainmaker Resources, a recruiting and M&A deal origination firm, and Redknot Homes, a custom homebuilding and real estate development company.
This is a newly created role designed for someone who is excited about the practical application of AI, automation, data, and emerging technology to real business opportunities. Working directly with company leadership, this individual will evaluate how work gets done today and identify ways to make our businesses more efficient, scalable, data-driven, and effective.
The role will span multiple functions and industries, with exposure to revenue generation, operations, project management, marketing, financial analysis, construction and real estate. The right person will be able to quickly understand a business process, identify opportunities for improvement, research and implement solutions, and help our teams successfully adopt new ways of working.
What You'll Do
- Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, technology, and data to improve processes and increase efficiency across our businesses.
- Research, evaluate, test, and implement new technologies, platforms, integrations, and workflows.
- Partner with leadership on projects supporting revenue growth, business development, operations, marketing, project execution, and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze existing workflows to eliminate unnecessary manual work, improve accuracy, and create more scalable processes.
- Develop tools, dashboards, reporting, templates, and automated workflows that improve visibility and decision-making.
- Use technology and data to support research, analysis, planning, and execution across multiple areas of the businesses.
- Manage special projects from initial idea through implementation, coordinating with internal team members and outside partners as needed.
- Develop documentation and repeatable processes around newly implemented solutions.
- Train team members on new technologies and workflows and help drive successful adoption.
- Measure results and continually refine processes based on performance and feedback.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI capabilities and proactively identify applications that could create a competitive advantage.
- As the businesses grow, take increasing ownership of automation, technology-enabled process improvement, and business transformation initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, analytics, information systems, engineering, computer science, construction management, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in AI, automation, technology, and their practical application within businesses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand both the details of a process and the larger business objective.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; exposure to AI platforms, workflow automation, databases, APIs, BI/reporting tools, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Exceptional organization, project management, and follow-through.
- Ability to research unfamiliar topics, learn quickly, and turn information into action.
- Comfortable moving between different projects, functions, and industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technology to nontechnical users.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build, test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve.
- High level of discretion and judgment when working with confidential business information.
