Position Summary:
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest satisfaction of the hotel. This position supports the Executive Housekeeper by providing leadership to the housekeeping team, inspecting guest rooms and public spaces for quality and brand standards, and stepping in to lead the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will also assist with daily operations, training, scheduling, and supporting team members to maintain a high level of service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, guide, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and service.
- Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet Courtyard by Marriott brand standards and hotel cleanliness goals.
- Lead and manage the department along side the Executive Housekeeper.
- Assist with daily housekeeping operations including scheduling, assignments, supply inventory, and ordering.
- Provide hands-on support by filling in as needed (room attendant, laundry, public space cleaning, etc.).
- Ensure guest requests and needs are handled promptly, courteously, and with a focus on hospitality.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching team members to maintain high performance and adherence to brand standards.
- Support the implementation of safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, respect, and service excellence.
- Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
