We are looking for Baristas, Artists, and Supervisors to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and simple food items, including various types of coffee, tea & acai bowls.

Artist responsibilities include educating customers on our menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, and taking orders. You should also be able to work various shifts. Note: this position’s compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greeting customers as they enter
• Educating customers on the menu and answering their questions regarding ingredients
• Prepare and serve beverages and simple food items following recipes. Ex: coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches, acai bowls.
• Serve prepared food like cookies, pastries, bagels, and muffins.
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards.
• Keep the bar, kitchen, and lobby area clean; take out the trash, and perform opening and closing tasks depending on shift
• Prep food items such as fresh fruits

SHIFT SUPERVISOR

The shift supervisor is responsible for assisting the store manager in maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a total quality experience & expectations for both our customers and team members. Shift supervisors assist in training, customer service, product knowledge, and education, encouraging safe work practices, and demonstrating commitment to our procedures and standards. This position directly supervises the Raining Berries Barista/Artist positions and acts as the manager on duty in the absence of the store and/or assistant manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, those designated to a Barista/Artist, as well as:

• Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked environment
• Performs all POS duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures
• Establishes effective and positive communication amongst all team members.
• Assists store manager in maintaining proper coverage and team member schedules ensuring that the store maintains customer service standards and team members adhere to meal and break policy.
• Ensures all cash handling procedures are upheld. Is accountable for store funds while running a shift.
• Initiative at his/her store during his/her shift.
• Proactive in solving customer problems and satisfying customers in various situations.
• Ensures that all Team Members follow the Standard Operating Procedures lead by greeting and responding to all customers with fast, efficient, friendly, and personalized service. Strives to develop a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks, and food items.
• Follows all Company drinks recipes and procedures, maintaining the highest quality and consistent product standards.
• Ensures that all team members are educated on our products and services, by developing an understanding of our various types of coffee, tea products, blends, roasts, acai, pitaya, coconut, matcha, and spirulina bowls and all products without limitations, as well as knowledge of coffee and tea regions, and the various differences in flavor and blends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
