Truck Driver - Class A CDL

We are currently seeking a Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will safely and efficiently transport goods to various locations. The driver will be switching back and forth between yard jockey, delivering finished product and transporting rendering and water offsite. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license and the ability to operate a tractor-trailer combination. Our Truck Drivers will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who is looking for a local, home-daily position. Pay will Depend on Experience.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety regulations and laws.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ensure that all product is loaded, secured, and unloaded properly.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road.
• Drive safely in all weather conditions.
• Help with loading trucks at the plant.
• Assist the shipping department on the loading dock when not delivering product.
• Compliant with DOT rules and regulations.
• Take trucks to get serviced and repaired.
• Assist in getting fuel for the trucks and machinery.
• Stay up to date with registration renewal, tags, and tracking mileage.
