Rainier Fruit Company is seeking a knowledgeable Quality Control Specialist who is experienced with apples, pears, cherries and blueberries to join our team!
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical part in ensuring the maximum level of fruit quality that our customers expect of Rainier. If you are a motivated and detail-focused individual looking to join a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily visits to our family of warehouses
- Deep knowledge of our customers and their individual fruit specifications
- Recommendations and guidance to our sales and production teams based on your findings
- Ensuring that our quality standards are being upheld on the packing line
- Responding to specific requests from our sales and production teams
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with apples and pears is required, experience with cherries and blueberries preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to give knowledgeable opinions and make independent judgement calls
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Skilled at working independently and within a team
