What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofing Installer position at Rainguard Roofing?
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Roofing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn the trade.
Responsibilities:
- Install roofing materials including shingles, metal, and other roofing systems
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation
- Load and unload roofing materials and tools
- Follow safety procedures and use proper fall protection
- Assist crew members to complete roofing projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Roofing or construction experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus
