What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vending Route Driver position at Rainey Vending?
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable Vending Route Driver to keep our machines fully stocked, clean, and running smoothly. You’ll manage an assigned route, ensure product freshness, and maintain an organized storeroom — all while representing our company on the road.
What You’ll Do
- Stock and service vending machines along your assigned route using a company vehicle
- Clean the exterior of snack machines, beverage machines, and bill changers daily
- Clean machine interiors on a weekly basis
- Monitor product expiration dates and rotate or replace items promptly
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized storage area with all products stored off the floor
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
Working Conditions
- Drive a company van in all weather conditions within the Springfield, IL area
- Transport product from the storeroom to machine locations (carts and containers are provided)
- Frequent standing, climbing, bending, squatting, and overhead lifting of 25–30 lbs
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
