The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our property's outdoor areas. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents, visitors, and employees.

As Groundskeeper, you will maintain efficient upkeep of property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Grounds Keeper to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents, visitors, and employees.
Groundskeeper / Porter Reports to: Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
As Groundskeeper, you will maintain efficient upkeep of property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.
- Cleans grounds and removes litter
- Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash
- Perform minor repairs on walkways, fences, and gates.
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
- Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude always.
- Be aware of and always operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies.
- Be observant for any problem that could be a hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, staff, guests, and the public. This includes condition of pool gates, fencing, lighting, trip hazards, etc.
- Cold weather conditions: Salt public passageways to prevent ice buildup
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
- High School Diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years working in the apartment industry with related experience or training.
