CLERK

The Firm is seeking a part-time clerk/runner for our Nashville, Tennessee office. The schedule for the part-time position would be during regular business hours, approximately 20 hours per week. Essential Functions:

• Pick-up/delivery of interoffice items such as files, interoffice envelopes, outgoing mail etc.
• Sort/distribute incoming mail.
• Apply postage to outgoing mail.
• Pick-up/drop off mail from local post office.
• Drop off packages to overnight boxes.
• Complete copy/scan/fax jobs as needed.
• Bind documents when requested.
• Various driving errands such as court filings, deliveries to other law firms, etc.
• Pick-up lunch orders for meetings as needed.
• Answer the phone as needed.
• Other duties may be may be assigned by supervisor.

• This position requires that the employee be able to lift boxes up to approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk up/down stairs.
• Must have reliable transportation, driver's license and proof of insurance for driving errands.
• High school diploma or GED
